At Clever Club, I’ve created a welcoming and well-equipped environment where every child can focus, participate, and thrive. This dedicated space supports both technology-based instruction and hands-on learning, tailored to each student’s pace.
Tutor’s Tools & Setup
- MacBook Air – For preparing and viewing answer keys and managing lesson content privately
- Computer (connected to TV) – Used to project worksheets, visuals, and explanations
- 📺 85” TV Screen – Positioned front and center, this large screen ensures that students can clearly see every lesson, writing sample, and visual demonstration — no squinting, no confusion
- iPad with Apple Pencil – For live explanations, quick drawing, or annotating directly on the TV
- Printer – To print daily worksheets, assessments, and enrichment tasks
- Curriculum Binder & Teacher Portfolio – Fully aligned with Virginia SOL and FCPS curriculum for structured and effective lesson planning
Student’s Tools & Workspace
- Tablet with Stylus – Students use this to write, solve problems, or annotate while their work is projected on the screen in real time
- Long Study Table – Where students sit and work comfortably during the session
- Binder Portfolio – A personalized binder to store printed worksheets, progress, and notes
- Supply Table – A round table stocked with:
- Notepads, pencils, erasers, pens, crayons, coloring pens
- Stapler, paper puncher, and other materials they may need during sessions
For Parents
A small table is available for parents who wish to quietly observe the session or briefly check in about their child’s progress.
